The same programme, twice

The 15-day experience runs twice in the summer of 2027. The two shifts are identical in structure, content, lessons, excursions and exam. Only the dates change, and both start on a Wednesday, so the week falls exactly the same way.

Second shift

7 to 21 July 2027

14 nights, the first twelve at Moreton Morrell College and the last two in a London hotel.

  • Lessons on 8, 9, 12, 15 and 16 July
  • Oxford Exam on 14 July
  • Graduation ceremony on the evening of 18 July
  • London on 19 and 20 July
Third shift

21 July to 4 August 2027

The same fourteen nights, two weeks later in the calendar.

  • Lessons on 22, 23, 26, 29 and 30 July
  • Oxford Exam on 28 July
  • Graduation ceremony on the evening of 1 August
  • London on 2 and 3 August

The first shift, Option A, ends on 7 July and the second begins the same day. The second ends on 21 July and the third begins the same day, with no gaps between the three shifts.

What the programme includes

Two weeks of full immersion

English lessons. 30 hours of tuition per student across five full teaching days, 3 hours in the morning from 09:00 to 12:00 and 3 hours in the afternoon from 14:00 to 17:00.

Parallel classes. Group A and Group B study at the same time in separate classrooms with different teachers, so each group gets the full 30 hours. This is what makes the longer shift different from the zig zag of Option A.

Excursions and culture. Five full-day excursions to England's most celebrated destinations: Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle with Royal Leamington Spa, Oxford, Birmingham, and Coventry with Leicester. No lessons fall on a Saturday or a Sunday: every weekend day is an excursion day.

London hotel finale. Two nights in a London hotel, with a panoramic orientation tour, iconic sights including the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, a Thames river cruise, the London Eye, and shopping at Camden Market or on Oxford Street.

How the timetable works

Parallel classes, not zig zag

On the five teaching days both groups are in class at the same time, each in its own room with its own teacher, morning and afternoon. Every student therefore reaches the full 30 hours.

The alternative would have been the zig zag used in Option A, where the two groups share one classroom and take turns. With only five teaching days available in this itinerary, that would have halved the hours to 15 per student, or forced the shift to run longer than fourteen nights.

  • Five teaching days, 6 hours a day, 30 hours per student
  • No lessons on Saturday, on Sunday, on the arrival day or on the departure day
  • One full day set aside for the Oxford Exam, with no lessons and no excursion
  • Five full-day excursions, two on each weekend
Day by day

The full fifteen days

One itinerary, read across for either departure. Lessons run 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00.
